A women empowerment event that was originally set to take place in the Town of Milton has changed locations.

An event called the Women Empowerment Award Gala and Exhibition, meant to recognize women entrepreneurs, influencers, mentors, small businesses and more, was originally supposed to happen in Milton, but will now be taking place in Scarborough.

The event is being organized by The Queen Hustle, an organization that demonstrates gender equality and empowerment for women.

Despite the change in locations, the award gala and exhibition will still feature speakers, business owners, mentors and women from all walks of life, that will be sharing their expertise and stories to inspire and elevate the community.

Additionally, attendees will be able to experience an evening filled with like-minded women, networking opportunities, dinner and live entertainment.

The event will take place on Saturday, Mar. 5 and the dress code will be black and gold formal.

While the event is currently sold out, the organizer has confirmed that they may be able to accommodate additional guests who call or email them directly.
