A Mississauga woman hunted by police in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old Montreal boy and a man sought in the slaying of a young woman who worked at a gas station in Mississauga’s north end remain two of Canada’s most-wanted fugitives, authorities said on Wednesday.
Katherine Bergeron-Pinzarrone, 28, and Dharam Dhaliwal, 32, both appear on the BOLO Program’s latest 25 Most Wanted in Canada list, the updated version revealed early Wednesday afternoon.
The Bolo Program, which takes its name from the popular police term “be on the lookout,” leverages social media, technology and “innovative engagement” to raise awareness about wanted people and encourage citizens to be on the lookout for Canada’s most wanted suspects.
It was developed in partnership with police forces across Canada and Crime Stoppers programs.
Bergeron-Pinzarrone, wanted by York Regional Police on a Canada-wide second-degree murder warrant, is No. 8 on the updated most-wanted list (She was No. 7 on the previous list released last December).
Dhaliwal, who’s being hunted by Peel Regional Police on a nationwide first-degree murder warrant, sits at No. 21 on the new list (No. 15 on previous list).

Dharam Dhaliwal, 32, is wanted in connection with a December 2022 murder at a Mississauga gas station.
Police and BOLO Program officials said at a news conference Wednesday in Vancouver that 12 of Canada’s most wanted are new to the top 25 list. Additionally, more of those sought by police than ever before are wanted on murder charges, according to BOLO.
“Make no mistake — these dangerous individuals are somewhere, among us, right now,” said Bolo Program executive director Max Langlois. “So they will remain this afternoon, tonight, tomorrow and next week if we don’t do something. Today, together, as a nation, we’re sending the message that we’re on the lookout for them.”
No. 1 on the updated list is Bryan Fuentes Gramajo, an alleged gang member from Montreal who’s wanted by Toronto Police in connection with the murder this past July of a man outside Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
A reward of up to $100,000 is available for information leading to his arrest, police said.

Bryan Fuentes Gramajo, an alleged gang member from Montreal who’s wanted by Toronto Police in connection with a murder this past July, is No. 1 on the latest BOLO list.
Bergeron-Pinzarrone, of Mississauga, who’s also known to live in Quebec, is wanted by police in connection with the stabbing death of a Montreal teen during a car theft in Richmond Hill on Aug. 8, 2024.
Some four months after the killing, York homicide detectives on the trail of the Mississauga woman partnered with the nationwide BOLO Program last December in stepped-up efforts to find her.
Police warn anyone who sees Bergeron-Pinzarrone to not approach her, but instead call 911 immediately.
Anyone with information on the wanted woman is urged to call York homicide investigators at 1-866-287-5025, email them at [email protected] or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
At around 6 a.m. on Aug. 8, 2024, police were called to a hospital in York after a 16-year-old boy, later identified as being from Montreal, arrived at the emergency department suffering from a stab wound. The teen was pronounced dead a short time later.
Murder at a Mississauga gas station
Dhaliwal, meanwhile, remains on the run from police nearly three years after a young woman was gunned down as she worked the night shift at a Mississauga gas station.
Pawanpreet Kaur, 21, of Brampton, was killed on Dec. 3, 2022 while working inside the kiosk at a Britannia and Creditview roads Petro-Canada in Mississauga’s north end. Police said the young woman was shot “multiple times” and pronounced dead at the scene.
Members of the public who spot the wanted man “are advised to not approach or confront the suspect directly, but to contact local authorities as he may be armed and dangerous,” police said earlier.
Anyone spotting Dhaliwal or with information as to his whereabouts is urged to call Peel police at 905-453-3311, ext. 3205, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.

Pawanpreet Kaur, 21, of Brampton, was shot and killed in December 2022 while working at a gas station in Mississauga.
Dhaliwal was included among Canada’s 25 most-wanted fugitives for the first time in April 2024, when he was No. 9 on the list.
Kaur was shot multiple times just after 10:30 p.m. on the early December 2022 night as she worked at the gas station on the northeast corner of the busy north Mississauga intersection.
It was the 13th murder in Mississauga that year, and the 27th in Peel, and it sent shockwaves through a community that had already seen much gun violence in the previous months.
A customer found the Brampton woman suffering from gunshot wounds and called 911. Emergency crews arrived on the scene and attempted life-saving measures, but Kaur died of her injuries.
“The murder of Pawanpreet Kaur forever changed her family’s life and significantly affected our community,” Peel police Chief Nishan Duraiappah said last year, adding the woman’s family “deserves answers and justice for this tragedy.”
