Woman seriously injured after being struck by vehicle at major intersection in Oakville

A collision on Friday evening in Oakville has sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.

Shortly before 7 p.m. on Jan. 13, a female pedestrian in her 20s was crossing Dundas Street West on the east side of the Third Line intersection when she was struck by a westbound vehicle.


She was taken to the trauma centre at Hamilton General Hospital where she remains in serious but stable condition.

Police say the driver, a 27-year-old male, remained at the scene.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing.

Halton police have asked anyone who has information and who has not yet spoken with police to contact their Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
