Woman seriously injured after being struck by vehicle at major intersection in Oakville

A collision on Friday evening in Oakville has sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.

Shortly before 7 p.m. on Jan. 13, a female pedestrian in her 20s was crossing Dundas Street West on the east side of the Third Line intersection when she was struck by a westbound vehicle.

 

She was taken to the trauma centre at Hamilton General Hospital where she remains in serious but stable condition.

Police say the driver, a 27-year-old male, remained at the scene.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
