Woman rushed to hospital after being struck by car in Brampton: Peel Police

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Brampton Saturday evening (May 8).
Peel Police said emergency crews were called to the area near Chinguacousy Road at Grovewood Drive around 6 p.m.
The woman sustained serious injuries and the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene, according to police.
Chinguacousy Road in both directions between Bovaird and Fandor Way remains closed to traffic as crews remain on the scene.
UPDATE: Chinguacousy has reopened.
