Woman on scooter struck by vehicle in Brampton, taken to hospital

Paramedics are responding to a collision in Brampton this afternoon (Aug. 6).
At around 1 p.m., a vehicle and scooter were involved in a collision at Clark Blvd and Central Park Dr.
The person on the scooter, an adult female, has been taken to trauma centre by ambulance.
The extent of her injuries is presently unknown.
The vehicle remained at the scene.
Clarke is closed from Braemar Dr to Central Park Dr until further notice, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
