Update: Woman killed in fatal collision in Brampton

One woman has died following a collision in Brampton today (June 16).
The tragedy occurred at the intersection of Kennedy Rd. S., and Steeles Ave. E., in Brampton. Two vehicles were involved in a collision, resulting in the death of an adult female and seriously injuring two others.

Peel Paramedics arrived on scene at 4:20 p.m., and said that two people, a male and a female were in serious, but stable condition – have now been transported to the hospital.
Westbound Steeles Ave. and southbound Kennedy Rd., have been temporarily blocked as law enforcement officials are actively investigating the circumstances leading up to the accident.
Peel Regional Police are urging commuters to seek alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion in the area.
