Woman injured in overnight shooting in Brampton: Peel Police

Peel Regional Police in Brampton are investigating after a woman was injured in an overnight shooting in the city.
According to police, officers and emergency services were called to the area of Airport Road and Brock Drive in Brampton at around 1:40 Friday morning (May 6).
A 33-year-old woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said at this time there is no suspect information and the incident remains under investigation.
