Woman injured after three-vehicle crash involving police cruiser in Brampton

A three-vehicle collision involving a police cruiser has resulted in traffic delays at a major intersection in Brampton on late Thursday afternoon (May 23).
The accident involving a Peel Regional Police car and two other vehicles occurred at the intersection of Chinguacousy Road and Bovaird Drive West shortly before 5 p.m.
An adult female in one of the vehicles was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries have been reported.
The collision has resulted eastbound closures on Bovaird Dr. West and police are asking drivers in the area use alternate routes until the scene of the accident is cleared away.
