Woman in serious condition after being hit crossing intersection near Oakville hospital

An Oakville woman was transported to a Hamilton hospital after being struck by car crossing a street on Friday night (Jan. 13).
The female, who is in her 20s, was crossing at the intersection of Dundas St. West and Third Line near Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital just shortly before 7 p.m. when she was hit.
The women was taken to the trauma centre at Hamilton General Hospital where she remains in serious but stable condition.
An initial investigation by Halton Regional Police indicates that the female was crossing Dundas St. West on the east side of the intersection when she was struck by westbound vehicle.
The 27 year old male driver remained on scene.
Halton police are asking anyone with information about this incident who has not spoken yet to them to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747, ext: 5065.
