Woman in critical condition after losing control of vehicle in St. Catharines

An overnight vehicle accident in St. Catharines has sent one person to hospital.

The incident happened around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 27) on northbound Highway 406 at Westchester Crescent.

Police say the 37 year old female driver lost control of her vehicle and was ejected.

The vehicle rolled over and sustained major damage.

The Niagara-on-the-Lake woman, who was the only person in the vehicle, was transported to hospital in critical condition.

All lanes have since reopened at the scene.

Niagara OPP are continuing to investigate this incident.
