Woman in Brampton hit by ‘rogue tire’: police

Peel Regional Police say a woman was hit by a tire that flew off of a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m., a woman was walking on Lisa St. in Brampton when a tire came loose from a vehicle, bounced toward her and struck her. The driver of the vehicle quickly came to a stop. The woman sustained a minor injury.
A woman was shockingly hit by a rogue tire on Lisa St #Brampton at 4:30pm. The vehicle quickly came to stop. Thankfully she only received minor injury & was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Under the provincial Highway Traffic Act, drivers can be fined if an object falls off of their car.
