Woman hit by car near Costco in Mississauga

A woman has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Mississauga this evening (July 22).

According to Peel Regional Police, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. near the Costco at Ridgeway Dr. and Laird Rd.

Reports indicate there was a “collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian” near the intersection.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital in serious condition.

Police are continuing their investigation and traffic is being diverted around the area.
