Woman goes missing in Mississauga, police seek public’s help

Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who went missing late this morning (Feb. 24) near Central Parkway Mall in the east end of Mississauga.
Police said in a social media post that they’re concerned for the well-being of Koren Benjamin, 47, who was last seen walking south on Central Pkwy. E. from Burnhamthorpe Rd. E. about 10 minutes before noon.
The mall is located on the northeast corner of that intersection.
Benjamin is described as 5-foot-6, 160 pounds, with short black hair.
When last seen, she was wearing a cream-coloured jacket with hood, black ripped jeans and white running shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-453-2121.
