Local police don’t know the reason a woman driver was forced to stop her car in north Burlington, but they’d like to find out why.

Halton police received a report that yesterday afternoon, June 20, around 4:20 p.m., two vehicles forced a woman to stop her car near Walker’s Line and Britannia Rd.

The vehicles reportedly forced the woman to stop in the middle of the road at which point three men got out of the vehicle in front and approached her.

Police said the woman was able to find an opening and sped away from the area.

No one was injured during this encounter and no weapons were seen.

The victim was driving a newer model Audi, however, the suspects didn’t have a chance to make any demands, so the exact reason for the incident is unclear.

The suspects are described as male, black, and skinny and drove a black sedan and a white sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Halton police at 905-825-4747. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or at the website.
