A woman has died after being hit by a car in Mississauga early Sunday morning.
The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue and Erin Mills Parkway.

Peel Regional Police said in a social media post that the 30-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect vehicle, described as a light-coloured sedan, fled eastbound on Eglinton Avenue from Erin Mills Parkway.
The intersection remains closed as police investigate. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
