Woman dead after unoccupied vehicle rolls onto her in Mississauga driveway

Police say one person is dead following a vehicle-related incident in Mississauga today (May 8).
Around 1:30 p.m., police, paramedics, and emergency crews responded to a person struck by a vehicle in the area of Barsuda and Truscott Dr near Southdown Rd.
Police later confirmed that an unoccupied vehicle had rolled onto an adult female in a driveway. She was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
The woman succumbed to her injuries and has been pronounced dead, police said at 2:49 p.m.
The cause of the incident is unknown at this time.
Residents should avoid the area as the investigation continues.
