Woman dead after being pulled from water at Marie Curtis Park

Police are working to identify a woman who was pronounced dead after her body was spotted in the water at Marie Curtis Park, a waterfront access park that sits on the edge of the Mississauga regional boundary.
Toronto Police say they received reports of a body in the water by the lakefront park around 7 a.m. this morning (Sept. 17).
Medics with the Toronto Paramedic Services attempted life-saving measures after the woman was pulled from the water.
Police say she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A coroners investigation is underway.
Police say they are trying to identify the woman and are asking people with information to contact the Toronto Police Service 22 Division at 416-808-2200.
