Woman charged with sexual assault, robbery of senior in Oshawa

A 50-year-old Oshawa woman is facing sexual assault and robbery charges after assaulting an elderly male.

On Tuesday May 10 at approximately 3:00 p.m. the victim was in his vehicle at Olive Street and Albert Street stopped at a red light.  The suspect entered the victim’s vehicle without his consent and demanded he drive her somewhere.  The suspect touched the victim inappropriately and then stole his wallet.  A physical altercation occurred, and the victim suffered minor injuries.

Sharon Franklin is charged with: Sexual Assault and Robbery. She was held for a bail hearing.

Investigators want to ensure there are no other victims.
