Woman attacked at Niagara Falls tourist attraction

Police are looking for this man after a woman was assaulted in Niagara Falls

A Boxing Day trip to a popular Niagara Falls tourist attraction turned ugly for a female visitor.

According to Niagara Regional Police, at around 7:50 p.m. a woman was leaving the bathroom area of the arcade inside the Skylon Tower on Robinson St. when she was approached by a man from behind.

Reports say the man confronted the woman and grabbed her in an aggressive sexual way. The culprit then fled the scene.

The woman received minor physical injuries and was assessed at the scene by paramedics before being transported to the hospital for treatment.

The victim has since been released from the hospital and continues to recover at home.

Detectives assigned to the case are now asking the public for help in identifying the person responsible for the attack.

He is described as a White male between the age of 20 and 30. The man was clean-shaved and wearing a black baseball hat, black jacket with a green hoodie underneath, and a black jacket.

Police say the woman did not know the attacker.
