Witnesses to Mississauga shooting sought by police

Peel Regional Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying the shooter after a man was shot and injured last night (May 25) near Hurontario St. and the QEW in Mississauga.
According to investigators, a 41-year-old man was shot multiple times at about 8:30 p.m. near Premium Way and Lynchmere Ave., just west of the Hurontario St./QEW interchange.
The victim was taken to hospital nearby in serious, but stable condition.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage to contact the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-453-3311, ext. 1133, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
