Police are seeking witnesses as they investigate a serious crash that took place on Saturday (August 21) in Port Colborne.

At 12:30 p.m., officers were called to the area of Regional Road 27 and Green Road for a crash involving multiple motorcycles and a convertible.

“Investigation has revealed that a number of motorcycles were westbound on Regional Road 27 when a silver convertible driven by a female in the middle of the group allegedly slowed down and turned,” said police.

“Subsequently, one motorcyclist lost control, striking another rider in the group before hitting the guardrail.”

The adult male was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries before being transported to an out-of-town hospital.
