With 18 new COVID-19 cases in Niagara Region today, ongoing cases drop to 177 after 30 are resolved

While there are 18 new COVID-19 cases in Niagara Region today (November 25), there were also 30 resolved cases, dropping the region to 177 ongoing cases, the lowest in months.

At the moment, nine people are being treated in Niagara hospitals – one in the ICU.

St. Catharines continues to have the highest caseload with 62 ongoing. From there, it’s a steep drop-off to 22 cases in Welland.

Fort Erie still has 16 cases, followed by both Lincoln and Niagara Falls with 14 cases while Pelham has 13.

The remaining six municipalities range from a low of two case in West Lincoln up to nine in Thorold.
