Winter weather advisory in effect for Mississauga and Brampton

A winter weather travel advisory is in effect today (February 25) for Mississauga and Brampton, according to Environment Canada.
There will be reduced visibility at times in heavy snow with slippery surfaces due to accumulating snow.
Local accumulations near 5 cm.
The advisory will start this morning and into early this afternoon.
A band of heavy lake effect snow is forecast to move into the area early this morning. This band of snow will likely persist for a few hours before weakening.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
