Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning of high winds in Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville and Burlington.

Residents are being advised that strong winds gusting between 70 km/h and 80 km/h are expected to hit on Saturday morning and continue through to the afternoon.

Environment Canada says Alberta Clipper will bring strong winds to southern Ontario on Saturday.

With the passage of a cold front in the morning, very strong northwesterly winds are expected to develop.

Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
