The Town of Whitby wants community feedback on going paperless with its annual Waste Collection Calendar, currently being printed and mailed to all Whitby households each spring.

Information from the calendar would continue to be made available online and through the Whitby Waste Buddy app available from Google Play or the App Store.

Whitby is committed to reducing waste wherever possible and operating in an environmentally friendly way, noting that putting the waste calendar online would help reduce costs, save trees and decrease carbon impacts on the environment. A recommendation based on the public feedback will be brought to Council later this year.

Complete a short, online survey between now and Friday, September 3 at 4:30 p.m. to have your say and tell us how you access your waste collection information. Those who complete the survey can enter a draw to win one of two $50 gift cards to shop in Downtown Whitby.
