Whitby man charged with sexual assault after investigation near Woodstock

A man from Whitby has been charged with several offences in relation to the sexual assault of a minor after an investigation near Woodstock.
Zubair Tanhim, 28 of Whitby, was charged after an Oxford County OPP investigation.
He has since been charged with; sexual assault against a person under 16 years old, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, luring a person under the age of 14 through telecommunication, and possession of child pornography.
Tanhim will remain in police custody until a bail hearing at the Woodstock courthouse.
