To celebrate Mother’s Day, Amazon delivery drivers Arshad Qazi, Saalik Ghousuddin, and Rishabh Sharma hit the road to surprise 150 Whitby-based moms with gifts from a local, women-owned business, Kim and Pom.

“We wanted to do something to make local moms feel extra special this Mother’s Day,” said Darryl Barrento, Senior Station Manager at DON3. “Our team had a blast putting together the AmazonSuperMom packages and delivering them to some of our regular customers across Whitby.”

The AmazonSuperMoms initiative was designed to help the Whitby Amazon team get involved in the community through small acts of kindness that make a big impact, and support local businesses.

“We are excited to be able to do our part to ensure that you and your loved ones feel special,” says Natalie Kim, owner of Kim and Pom, “As a small, local business, Amazon’s wide reach and efficient fulfillment service has provided us with the opportunity to connect and share our beautiful products with customers across North America.”
