Whitby 55+ hosting BBQ and Bazaar fundraiser

Whitby’s 55+ Recreation Advisory Committee are hosting a BBQ & bazaar fundraiser Friday, in collaboration with Whitby Lawn Bowling Club and Lynde House Museum.
The event will feature a BBQ ($2 burgers or hot dog & a drink), craft/quilting bazaar, music, lawn bowling, games, activity demonstrations and Lynde House tours. The bazaar also features handmade knitted and quilted crafts by volunteer craft and quilting groups.
The event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is sponsored by Amica Whitby and Amica Taunton. No Membership or registration required.
The BBQ will be held at 55+ Recreation Centre, Rotary Centennial Park, Whitby Lawn Bowling Club and Lynde House Museum, which are all located on a single block between 800 and 900 Brock Street South.
