Three of the city’s most popular restaurants for Japanese, Thai and Indian cuisine are available in one place at Mississauga’s Heartland Town Centre.

The massive shopping centre at Mavis and Britannia is home to a ton of major retailers and restaurants, including popular eateries Mishree, Spoon & Fork, and Gyu Kyou.

All three restaurants have become a hit among foodies, with extensive menus and delicious offerings that ensure there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Haven’t checked these places out yet? Here’s what to expect:

Mishree Cocktails & Cuisine
825 Britannia Rd W.

Mishree Cocktails & Cuisine offers a luxurious dining experience with a wide array of Indian dishes and craft cocktails. Having opened in January after a major $4 million renovation, the restaurant has an intricate wrap-around bar, an open-concept kitchen, a year-round covered patio, and a main dining room that’s both spacious and elegant.

The menu features over 100 dishes of delicious South Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine, including Avocado and Green Apple Gol Gappe (hollow, fried wheat shell), Lamb Chops, Chili Garlic Chicken Momos and Paneer Tikka Masala, as well as innovative dishes that are unique to Mishree like their Meat Beliram, Meen Moilee and Kukut Ki Barfi.

The bar offers 40+ cocktails and mocktail options – some of their must-try drinks including The King & Marry, Mishree G&T and Winter Sage.

They also recently introduced their new Sundaez Brunch, available every Sunday in June from 12 to 4 p.m. with unlimited food and drink options.

Conceptualized around the elements of opulent classic design and modern technology, the restaurant is a unique experience where guests can enjoy an interactive nightlife with live music.

Spoon & Fork
5860 Mavis Rd

As one of the GTA’s most popular Asian fusion restaurants, Spoon & Fork is best known for their combination of delicious Japanese and Thai cuisine under one roof. The Heartland location is their second in Mississauga and their sixth overall, with other locations in Oakville, Etobicoke and Barrie.

The restaurant’s extensive menu has everything from sushi, sashimi and teriyaki to dishes of rice, noodles and curry, as well as a variety of mouthwatering seafood, chicken and beef dishes. They also feature a substantial All You Can Taste menu, takeout, and catering.

Gyu Kyou
5955 Latimer Dr.

Foodies who love Japanese BBQ will find all they can eat at Gyu Kyou. The restaurant opened last December and has already become a popular hotspot for its AYCE menu, which features a selection of beef (such as their Sweet Soy Marinated Short Ribs), pork (including Miso Pork Belly), chicken, seafood and more, which diners can barbecue right at their table and cook just the way they like it.

The menu also has rice and ramen, sushi rolls, soups, salads, and a wide selection of side dishes including tofu, edamame, gyoza, deep-fried spring rolls, kimchi, garlic and much more, giving diners the chance to try a little bit of everything and see what they like best. Pair your meal with any of their many fruit juices, teas or a soda.
