Wheel falls off vehicle striking multiple vehicles on Hwy. 401 near Pearson Airport in Mississauga

Two people were injured after a wheel came off a vehicle on Highway 401 near Pearson Airport in Mississauga.
A passenger vehicle lost a rear wheel on the driver’s side while travelling in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Dixon Road, OPP said in a tweet around midnight today (June 9).
The wheel hit multiple vehicles, smashing the windshield of one car.
Two people were sent to hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The driver faces charges in the incident.
