Easter Weekend 2021 in Mississauga consists of Good Friday (April 2), Easter Sunday (April 4) and Easter Monday (April 5).

Almost everything that is closed Friday is closed Sunday.

This year, many things that are typically open will be closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because Mississauga remains in the grey/lockdown zone of the province’s colour-coded framework, private indoor gatherings are not permitted.

Religious services are permitted, but indoor facilities can only operate at 15 per cent capacity.

Restaurants will still not be permitted to offer dine-in service, but some might be open for takeout and delivery. Restaurants will be permitted to offer patio service on Good Friday, but once new restrictions kick in at 12:01 am on April 3, patio dining will no longer be permitted.
