Easter Weekend in 2019 is Good Friday (April 19), Easter Sunday (April 21) and Easter Monday (April 22) in Mississauga.

Almost everything that is closed Friday is closed Sunday.

  • The Food District at Square One is closed (but open Saturday and Easter Monday)

  • All major malls (Erin Mills Town Centre, Dixie Value Mall)
  • Heartland and other power centres
  • Government offices
  • Banks
  • Libraries
  • LCBO 
  • Beer Store
  • City Hall
  • Non-Emergency Region of Peel services will not be available (but waste collection will remain unchanged on Good Friday)
  • Region of Peel Community Recycling Centres
  • No mail delivery

  • Most bars and restaurants should be open, but call ahead to be sure
