Easter Weekend in 2019 is Good Friday (April 19), Easter Sunday (April 21) and Easter Monday (April 22) in Mississauga.
Almost everything that is closed Friday is closed Sunday.
We know it might be a little confusing, but here’s what is open and closed this long weekend:

- Square One is closed Friday and Sunday (but open Saturday and Easter Monday)
- The Food District at Square One is closed (but open Saturday and Easter Monday)
- Most major grocery stores
- All major malls (Erin Mills Town Centre, Dixie Value Mall)
- Heartland and other power centres
- Government offices
- Banks
- Libraries
- LCBO
- Beer Store
- City Hall
- Non-Emergency Region of Peel services will not be available (but waste collection will remain unchanged on Good Friday)
- Region of Peel Community Recycling Centres
- No mail delivery

Open:
- Whole Foods Square One - 10 am to 7 pm (Good Friday only)
- The Rec Room at Square One (both Good Friday and Easter Sunday)
- Starsky Foods - 8am to 8pm (Good Friday only)
- Most bars and restaurants should be open, but call ahead to be sure
- Fish and Chip restaurants (Good Friday)
- Playdium by Square One (Friday and Sunday)
- Mississauga Flea Market (Saturday and Sunday)
- Some smaller grocery stores, such as Rabba grocery stores
- Most Shoppers Drug Marts
