Santa Parade Brampton Christmas

It’s that time of year again when the jolly elf in the red suit comes to town to usher in the holiday season.

Yes, it’s Santa Claus and his parade will take place this Saturday, Nov. 15, in Brampton starting at 5 p.m.

It is presented by the Rotary Club of Brampton.

The parade has had a varied history over the years, with a few starts and stops, but has run consistently since 1985 and has been a nighttime event for 31 years.

For 2025, the parade starts at Bramalea Road and Central Park Drive. It will then proceed up to North Park Drive, where it will turn left and end at Jordan Boulevard.

“As one of Brampton’s cherished holiday traditions, the parade brings families, friends, and the community together for an evening of magic and celebration,” according to organizers.

The parade will run rain, shine or snow.

Organizers say the parade takes approximately 60 minutes to pass by and is expected to wrap up by 6 p.m.

Please plan accordingly. We recommend arriving early to find parking and the optimal place for you and your family to watch the Parade.

There will be no street parking along the parade route after 2 p.m. on the day of the event. The roads will reopen at 8 p.m.

Park should be available on some streets nearby and at local lots.

Some parking locations will be affected by road closures, including some streets and parking lots only accessible from Bramalea Road and North Park Drive. Vehicles parked on those streets or lots (e.g, Pineway Place, Salvation Army) will not be able to leave until the parade has concluded and the road is reopened.

For those who cannot attend in person, the parade will be broadcast on YouTube. The link for viewing can be found here.
