West Lincoln barn fire might be linked to crime

Detectives with the Niagara police are investigating a suspicious barn fire that occurred in West Lincoln on Tuesday night (Dec. 28).
Further investigation has led the detectives to believe the barn was a cannabis grow-op.
The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPPS) and West Lincoln Fire Department received a report of a fire call located in the area of Victoria Avenue and Tice Road, West Lincoln, at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
The responding firefighters and officers found a barn that was fully engulfed in flames. There were no people on scene at the time of the incident.

The matter remains under investigation with NRPS detectives with 8 District and the Ontario Fire Marshal.
