West Hamilton mountain power outage affecting hundreds of homes, businesses

A power outage on the west Hamilton mountain is affecting hundreds of homes and businesses Wednesday morning (Feb. 2).
Alectra Utilities is reporting a limited outage in the area of Guildwood Drive to Greencedar Drive and Upper Paradise to Upper Horning Road that is affecting 500 customers.
The utility provider said the cause of the outage is an underground distribution problem.
Crews have been dispatched to the area to make repairs and the estimated time for power restoration is noon.
