Through February, Niagara Police’s Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) Unit working in tandem with Peel Police started an investigation into the online sexual exploitation of a child.

Today (March 23), they arrested  Travis Nathan Twain, 29, of Welland and charged him with agreement or arrangement to commit a sexual offence against a child, making child pornography, making child pornography available and possession of drugs.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on March 24 at the courthouse in St. Catharines.

The Niagara Police are a member of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet and conducts investigations into Internet Child Exploitation Offences in partnership with numerous Ontario Police Services.
