While oddly, Niagara Health did not post the daily new cases of COVID-19 today (July 21), there is still no shortage of statistics that look at the Niagara Region.

So far, there have been 592,386 vaccines in the region and while 68.9 per cent have received their first shot, an impressive 54.7 per cent are now fully vaccinated, well past the halfway mark.

While the hospital system has administered 237,779 vaccinations, regional-wide clinics aren’t far behind at 225,125. Pharmacies are next with 104,168 vaccinations completed.

Interestingly, 54,248 Niagara Region residents got their shots outside of Niagara.
