Well-being check leads to dead female in Mississauga; Police asking for public’s help

Detectives from the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a Mississauga woman’s death.
On Thursday, July 20, 2023, at approximately 12:15 p.m., police attended an apartment building located at 28 Helene Street North in Mississauga to conduct a well-being check of a female resident.
Once inside, police located 21-year-old Pitch Phaunpa deceased.
Her death is being investigated as a homicide believed to have occurred between July 17 and July 18.
