A weather warning has been issued for part of Ontario on Tuesday.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for areas northeast of Thunder Bay.
“Rain, at times heavy with embedded thunderstorms, will affect the area this morning before tapering off,” the warning said.
“Much of the rainfall is expected to fall within a three-to-six hour period at any one location.”

Total amounts near 50 mm are expected, with locally higher amounts possible.
“Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible,” the weather agency said.
Meanwhile, Environment Canada said that on Wednesday, heavy rain and strong winds are possible in southwestern Ontario.
Their thunderstorm outlook is forecasting a “moderate” weather threat for areas including London and Windsor, with a minor threat forecast for other parts of southern Ontario.
