For boxing day morning in Mississauga you may want to drive carefully looking for that sale as there will be some freezing rain early Monday, then rain.

According to Environment Canada a special weather statement was made.

Brief period of freezing rain is expected early Monday morning as a warm front approaches. The freezing rain will change to periods of rain during the morning. The rain will end by evening.

Untreated roads may be icy early Monday morning. Caution is advised.

By 4pm Monday we will be at record setting temperatures as we will hit 11c but we are also looking at 10 to 15mm of rain throughout the day.

The mild temperatures will only last a day as we are back to -1c high on Tuesday.

So let’s try to enjoy singing in the rain (puddles) Monday afternoon!
