Weather starting to cool off this week in Mississauga and Brampton

Residents in Mississauga and Brampton are in for a taste of early fall as rain continues early in the week and the high on Thursday (Sept. 15) is only expected to reach 18 degrees Celsius.

Tonight, the skies will remain overcast with a 20 km/h southeast wind becoming light in the evening.

Tomorrow (Sept 12), Environment Canada meteorologists predict that the cloudy skies will stick around and there is a high chance of showers beginning around noon. There is also the possibility for a thunderstorm later in the afternoon.

Humidex levels will raise the temperature to feel like 30 degrees Celsius tomorrow, but it will dip down to a low of 10 degrees Celsius overnight with continual showers.

Tuesday (Sept. 13), showers persist with a 60 per cent chance of rain expected all day. The high will reach 21 degrees Celsius during the day and will fluctuate very little into the evening as showers continue.

Sunny skies are expected to return on Wednesday (Sept. 14) with a high of 25. The evening is going to be clear and crisp, hitting a low of seven degrees Celsius.

Thursday (Sept. 15) is where the week hits a temperature low before bouncing back to the mid-20s. The skies will be clear and sunny but the day is only expected to reach a high of 18 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, there will be a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 21 and low of 12 overnight with cloudy periods at times. Saturday will be a similar mix of sun and cloud but with a slightly higher temperature of 26 degrees Celsius expected, feeling closer to 28 with humidex values.
