Weather March 23: Another very cold day on tap for Saturday in southern Ontario

The good news for Ontario residents is the snow that fell all day and night Friday will end before morning.

The bad news? You got a lot of shovelling to do, with at least 15 centimetres of the white stuff on your driveway.

Saturday will be mainly cloudy from Mississauga to Hamilton, with a mix of sun and cloud in Toronto and in Durham Region. The skies should clear in the afternoon in Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville and Burlington.

The winds will be 20 km/hr, gusting to 40 km/hr and generally becoming light near midnight Saturday. Daytime highs will be plus 3 in most areas while the lows will be minus 8 from Mississauga to Burlington and minus 10 in Hamilton and Durham Region.

Overnight windchills will hit minus 11 in Mississauga and minus 14 in Durham.
