Weather March 20: Cold, windy and more flurries in the forecast for southern Ontario

A mix of sun and cloud with an excellent chance of more snow flurries and continued high winds is in Wednesday’s forecast for most of southern Ontario, with overnight temperatures reaching minus 13 in Mississauga and minus 15 in Oshawa.

The winds will be 40 km.hr, gusting to 60 km/hr before diminishing to 20 km/hr west of Toronto, while Durham Region will still experience strong wind gusts overnight.

The chance of flurries during the day will be 70 per cent along the lake from Hamilton to Toronto and 40 per cent in Milton and Halton Region and in Durham Region.

Daytime lows Wednesday will be from minus six to minus nine while the high for the day will just clear the barometer red line at plus one.
