Weather March 16: Cloudy day with cooler temperatures in the forecast for southern Ontario

A mainly cloudy day with brisk winds will greet residents in southern Ontario today, with wind chills making the morning routines a little chilly at minus 8.
Daytime highs will be plus nine through most of the GTA, with temperatures a little cooler on the east side of Toronto in Durham Region where they likely won’t get past plus six.
Tonight should be a bit damp with a few showers ending near midnight then cloudy with a chance of more showers overnight. Winds will be 30 km/h gusting to 50 this morning across the entire region, with the winds remaining persistent at 20 km/hr gusting to 40 km/hr after midnight.
