With every day filled with sunshine, a little rain must soon fall and Wednesday’s beautiful day, with the sun streaming down and temperatures in the very unseasonable high teens will be followed by showers and slighter cooler temperatures Thursday.

Mississauga and Brampton residents will be greeted by a mix of sun and cloud in the morning but that will be the last sun of the day with the skies becoming cloudy around noon with a 30 percent chance of showers early in the afternoon and periods of rain later in the day.

Oakville and Burlington residents and their Halton neighbours to the north in Milton and Halton Hills – as well as Hamilton – will have mostly cloudy skies from the start of the day with the same soggy forecast for the rest of the day.

Durham Region folks will experience the exact same weather Thursday, according to Environment Canada, while Toronto residents will get to see a little sun in the morning before the clouds and the showers move in.

Total rainfall will be 5-10 mm, with Hamilton getting a bit more at an expected 15 mm.

Winds across the GTHA will be 20 km/hr, gusting to 40 km/hr in some areas and becoming lighter in the afternoon and evening.

The rain will end late in the evening with a 40 per cent chance of showers overnight (another 5-10 mm is expected) and a low of plus 5.

The daytime highs Thursday will be 11 C from Hamilton to Toronto, with Durham residents seeing a slight bump to 12 C.
