A weather advisory warns of dense fog this morning in parts of southern Ontario.

The blast of snow this week is over and replaced with rain and fog in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton Region and Hamilton.

The temperature is expected to reach 5 C and Environment and Climate Change Canada issued an advisory due to the fog.

“Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring,” the advisory states.

The dense fog is expected to roll in this morning.

“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero,” the advisory states.

If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance, Environment Canada advises.
