A Clarington woman has been charged with weapons offences and her partner is wanted by police after a raid on a home in Courtice Friday.
In May officers with the Durham Police Drug Enforcement Unit began an investigation into a man believed to be in illegal possession of a firearm.
On Friday, June 5, 2026, The Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a search warrant on a home in Courtice on Friday, seizing a firearm with ammunition and more than $118,000 in cash.
Daniella Burgher, 46, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm and possession of an unloaded firearm with ammunition.
She was held for a bail hearing.
Robert Andrew Pinnock, 45, is wanted on the same charges.
