We could get up to 20 cm of snow this week in Mississauga and Brampton

A winter storm this week could bring a substantial amount of snowfall to much of southern Ontario.
The overall temperatures for the week are expected to be slightly above seasonal, with a high of 3 degrees Celsius on Monday and a low of -2 C on Friday.
With the exception of clear skies on Monday, a chance of snow is in the forecast for each day of the week.
Meteorologists are tracking a Texas/Gulf Low expected to approach the region on Wednesday, which could bring snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres or even more if the storm tracks south of Lake Erie.
Colder temperatures are likely to continue into the following weekend.
