Watermain break in central Hamilton may cause significant traffic delays

Hamilton Water crews are responding to a major watermain break that may cause significant traffic delays in central Hamilton on Tuesday (May 17).

Lane restrictions will be in effect along Gage Ave S from Lawrence Rd to Cumberland Ave and on Lawrence Rd from Gage Ave S to Rothsay Ave.

Motorists may want to avoid the area or consider an alternate route for the duration of the work.
