Watermain break causing lane restrictions in Hamilton

A watermain break has been reported in Hamilton today (Dec. 18).

Crews are responding to a watermain break in the area of 1856 Brampton St near Parkdale Ave N.

During the repair, lane restrictions are in effect on Brampton St from Parkdale Ave N to Burgess Ave.

Residents should expect delays and avoid the area if possible.

Work is expected to wrap up by 8 p.m. tonight.
